Appearance: {A small NightWing-looking dragonet with dark, seemingly semi-translucent scales, making it seem like Dream was a dark ice sculpture with fire glowing from within}
Dreamlight is s small dragon- smaller than Resurrection, but still noticeably smaller than an average dragonet of her age. She has the typical dark scales of a NightWing, though the almost looks semi-transparent, like she's carved of some dark ice- and the oddest thing is that she seems to have fire glowing from within her. It's purely visual, she is completely corporeal, though it's an interesting first impression. Her claws are jagged and serrated, as with most part-IceWings, and her tail goes down to a whip-thin point. Other than that, her father's side doesn't seem to manifest itself much. Her eyes are a bright gold, a stark contrast to the dark scales of the NightWing. Her wings have the normal silver-splattered star pattern, and while hers has some more color to it, it's still very dark.

Dream is a dragon who'd walk up to you randomly and start talking. She, of course, means no ill will, however this habit of hers- an extroversive nature mixed with less-than-trusting dragons doesn't tend to end well. Not like Dream reveals much about herself- she tends to be very secretive and closed-off from anyone. This extends to friends- she has trouble trusting them, has trouble believing they'll stay when they learn about her. Once they've proven they will, though, Dream is very protective. She's the kind of dragon to see someone looking at a friend wrong and be ready to end their life- only mostly jokingly. This, however, is ignoring her depression- she has trouble being motivated to do anything sometimes, and this is a known flaw that she's working at, painfully slowly it seems.
Abilities:
Dream can breathe fire- like most NightWings. She can also stand colder temperatures, however nowhere near as low as a true-blooded IceWing. Her claws are serrated and jagged, and her tail is whiplike. Backstory:
Dream was hatched in NightWing territory, where her mother and father lived. Disappointed in her lack of a moon-power, the hatchling was left along quite often by her parents, who would fawn over any moon-hatchlings while turning a blind eye to those with a less special hatchday. And so Dream learned to fend for herself in a world where it was usually just her. Sure, the dragonet socialized and had friends, but was always seen as an outcast, particularly by a group of manipulative NightWings, who always seemed to have two or three innocent dragons who got caught in their schemes. More often than not, it was one- Firefly nicknamed them Galaxywings due to their brightly colored wings- who would join in the torment, but never very fullheatedly, almost as if they were aware of what they were doing.That all came to a head one day when the icelike dragon was cornered by said group of dragons, and Galaxy was told to "make sure she can never fly again." And oddly enough, the NightWing- who Dream was convinced was a willing puppet in the face of these manipulative dragons- refused. Dream knew that to be a terrible idea, but the dragonet was too scared to say or do anything other than run. Next time she saw Galaxywings, it'd been two weeks since they arrived to school, and scars covered their body. And, oddly enough, they wanted to get to know Dream. And so they did, the two becoming friends quickly, but Dream never really telling Resurrection- their name was in fact not Galaxywings- about her personal life, instead always trying to make the pure NightWing feel better. However, ever since the two started associating, other dragons had finally started leaving the half-IceWing alone, and for that Dream was grateful. Additionally, without even knowing it, Resurrection started pulling Dreamlight out of a depressive spiral of anxiety and self-hate she'd been caught in for a long time, and though she's only ever mentioned it once to Resurrection, they do their best to help still.
Relations: Resurrection | ☼☼☼☼♥ | Resurrection was someone to help bring Firefly out of her depressive spiral, and for that Firefly is forever grateful. She trusts the NightWing with her life- a mistake? She doesn't yet know, but can only pray she's in the right for doing so. And there's that, y'know, slim chance she may have feelings for her friend. I mean, huh? What? Never.
